“Bosdet was a self-funded project filmed in three countries over eight months. It was Maya and Mark's first experience of making a longer-form documentary. On completion, in September 2009, it had two sell-out screenings and was shown at both the Branchage and New Jersey Film Festivals in 2010. The first DVD run was a sell-out and all production costs were recouped. Additional funding and in-kind support came from: Jersey Heritage, The Société Jersiaise, the Glass Rainbow Trust and Jersey Film Society. A French-subtitled copy of Bosdet is shown daily in the Jersey Museum Cinema.” [Maya Hammarsal website, 2016] 2018: Main feature kindly made available [by Maya and Mark] to view online.
