The Sunday Evening Ticket gains entry to two performances:
James Kitchman with Bruno Heinen 7.30pm
Hexham born and raised guitarist James Kitchman teams up with the acclaimed pianist Bruno Heinen in a duo that has developed its own vocabulary in jazz. Expect a careful balance of original compositions and improvisations, with plenty of musical dialogue and playful energy.

The Abbie Finn Trio 9.00pm
They have been described as a masterclass in straight- ahead jazz by Russell Corbett for the Northern Echo after their performance at the 2019 Durham Jazz Festival. The trio have featured on BBC. Chris Philips, Jazz FM dubbed them “Exceptional British Jazz”
Please note seating for both events is unreserved, mainly cafe style seating.
Hexham Jazz Festival 2022, presented by Hampsted Jazz Club, brings together top musicians from around the country to perform in Hexham Abbey, which boasts some of the best acoustics in the region. The festival offers a full weekend of concerts with profits being donated to research at Newcastle University's "Centre of Cancer". Food and drink will be available so come and make a weekend of it, in the heart of Northumberland.
