Summer Music School

After a highly successful week in 2007, the Summer Music School returns this year, from 11th – 16th August.

Run by the Abbey’s experienced Assistant Organist, Hugh Morris, the course is based around singing sessions, preparing a short cantata for performance. These are mixed with themed activities and other music-making sessions, the results of which will be added into the final performance on Friday 16th at 2pm.

The course is open to all children currently in years 3-8, though to comply with legislation they must at least 8 years old by 31st July 2008.
The only entry requirements are some basic singing ability and enthusiasm!

The course costs £60, which covers all tuition and materials and snack-time refreshments. Participants need to bring a packed lunch each day.
All supervisors are CRB-checked by the Abbey.
