All of us who have a great love for Hexham Abbey, whether for its worship, its architecture, its incredible history, its musical tradition or the memory of a family event, now have a unique opportunity. That is to work together to grasp a once-in-nearly-500-years chance to reunite the Abbey’s historic site and develop it to provide modern facilities for the congregation, the community and our visitors.
The Hexham Abbey Project is an exciting initiative to support the Abbey’s mission and ministry for this and future generations. We have already received major support towards the project and are now just £124,000 short of our £3million target.
